How to Propose During This Pandemic

Hi there Handsome, I know the butterflies in your tummy has been singing and humming all they could for the past months now, and you just feel like shouting on top of your voice that you are in love with Bae, and would like to get Married Asap but the pandemic (COVID) situation around the world and your country isn't letting you. As Sad as that is, smile, for I, the harbinger of news, brings good news to you (ha ha ha). Let no Corona Virus stop you boy!. I've got some tips to help you in planning your proposal. 

 I'd like you to know that these tips will work depending on how much a threat the virus poses to your country, ranging from mild to severe. Here goes!.

1. Social Media - Never underestimate the power of social media. One good things tho, is that the social media is at our finger tips so my dear, use it! Own it! Let it speak for you! Command it! (OK, i think I need to explain before you think i'v gone gaga!). There are lots of social media platforms you can make use of, to pop the Question to the LOYL! Consider majorly, the ones that have video call options. Imagine calling up Bae, setting up candles and lighting them up with roses scattered nicely around em. Now imagine you, standing in the middle of all this and putting a video call across to her probably via Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter or any other you know of, and saying  boldly: 'You've been the most amazing person in my life, will you do me the honors of being my woman, the person I'll spend the rest of my life with? (are you entranced yet? Come along. 

2.Video Apps - If you know your girl is the type of person who would like for her friends to be present while you pop the Question, you can download different apps online such as zoom app, Houseparty app and the likes. With this you can get enough of friends and family to support and cheer you on. This will only work if you all download the app. 

3. Private Dinner - If you can get that stunning lady into your house then this probably will be your best option. A romantic dinner it is! (Ta Da!) . Create an illusion of a five star restaurant with menus and side dishes. Make sure to get your light right and dimmed (it always helps with the effect). You can as well order the meal and get it arranged before she gets to you. After the meal, look into her eyes and say the word. Guaranteed.  She can't refuse you. 

4. Involve Her Family - If your girlfriends happens to live with her family, probably her dad, mum and siblings, and you know she is the type who would like her family involved in the proposal(at this stage in your relationship, you should know what your girlfriend wants or not) You can get to her house and do the needful. Make sure the family is in on it tho as this will liven up the surprise. 

5. Where it all started - If the lockdown isn't that serious in your country, then you can as well make use of the park or any restaurant you know she loves. You can recreate your first date at the bar, park or restaurant. The idea is to make the day a memorable one she won't forget. Feel free to put your spin on it. 

6. Surprise Birthday - This is for those who live in different states or countries. If it's her birthday, you can get a cake delivered across to her with the ring in it. This will only work with effective communication with both the cake artist and the jeweler - and that is assuming the jeweler can deliver the ring. The cake artist can also pick up the ring and help with the plan. Might cost extra but it should be worth it. 

 

7. Express Delivery -  If it Is possible to get across to her a certain gift, book, a giant teddy bear, anything that you are sure of she won't refuse, accompanied with flowers and the ring embedded in the gift,with a scroll that says the best things, poems, memories, future plans, thoughts and The big Question, then you can take this route. Bear in mind, you would still have to do the video call (you can call at the point of delivery to watch her unwrap the gift so you can do your part). 

8. Get Creative - Hey there, I believe in you! I think you can use that big Brain of yours that's not just invested in Business, Health, Politics, Accounting or whatever profession you're into, and we will still be wowed. Create something out of the ordinary. Something simple and loving. If you know your girl, this would be the most easiest of things to do!.

Yes, your plans might have been ruined but you will be saving yourself a lot of money by going ahead now!!! Think Expenses cut down to the barest minimum!. 

On the other hand, if you still want your dream wedding with thousands of guest in attendance, then do well to postpone it to a future date.
